If you are new to selling or buying via an online marketplace the quick start guide below may help. If you are already familiar with online marketplaces you may want to skip this and jump right in by signing up for a free account!
Sellers
Posting an ad on 9 Bears is quick and easy.
Below are a couple of tips to get you started with placing ads. It’s free to place an ad on 9 Bears. Free ads expire after 90 days at which time you can re-post the ad or let it be deleted by the system.

Login
Before you can list an item on 9 Bears you will need to login. If you do not have an account you can get one, it's quick, easy and it's free!
When you are logged in.

Post a Free Ad!
Hit the Post Free Ad button below or at the top of the page or visit your dashboard and go to the Post Free Ad tab. Be sure to read the bit at the start of the Post Ad page to get the most out of your listing. Although we are just about anything cycling, ski & snowboard there are a few things you should be aware of. Please read our ad posting policies, terms and conditions and privacy policy to familiarize yourself with them.

Finding what you want is easy on 9 Bears.
Below are 3 tips to get help you make the most of your experience on 9 Bears.

Login
You do not need to login (or create an account) to look at ads, read articles or browse the website. However, when you sign up and login you will be able to see sellers contact info, message sellers, add items to your favorites list, compare items, post ads and more... It's free and easy to join and only takes a few minutes.

Find it!
First thing to do is hit our homepage and search for something. The site is broken down into 2 main categories, Cycling and Ski & Snow (exclusive of each other). Choose which one you wish to search by clicking on either the Cycling tab or the Ski & Snowboard tab. All other fields are optional so you can just hit search or you can refine your search right off the get go. If you only want to see items near you be sure to enter your location. No need to get it perfect though, on the search results page you can easily refine and narrow down things until only the types of items you are looking for are displayed.

Buy it!
Once you find that perfect item contact the seller and arrange the deal. Please be courteous and respectful of sellers. (See our terms and conditions and privacy policy to familiarize yourself with them). Also be sure to check out our FAQ section which has some good tips on recognizing a potential scam along with other helpful tips when buying via an online marketplace.
